The apartment above the garage has a private entrance and is located on an organic permaculture farm. This space is newly constructed in 2017, the decor leans toward Scandinavian. It has a beautiful view of a pond and our 1852 English threshing barn chosen as one of the bicentennial barns of Indiana.

Historic Converted Barn Loft
Beautiful apartment with loft sleeping created in 2015 as part of an 1852 English threshing barn. Large windows with views of pond and gardens. Guests are welcome to wander around the farm but not into any structures without being accompanied by the owner.

What an outstanding place to stay!! The host is fantastic. The overall experience is a breath of fresh air and a chance to learn about The Sobremesa (from farm to table) way of life. I don’t know why anyone would choose to stay anywhere else but here when visiting Bloomington, Indiana!
