As a WWOOFer, what you will do here?

Sobremesa Farm offers a great opportunity for someone who is looking to learn about holistically managing land, and building upon their experience in restoration ecology.

This entails aiding in the existing operations and assisting in developing additional site resources (small livestock, poultry, annual and perennial gardens/orchards, hoop house, greenhouse and more).

Land description: 9 acres of forest, pastures, two ponds, permaculture design layout

What is WWOOF?

WWOOF is an educational and cultural exchange program. WWOOFing is a way to learn practical farming skills, be part of the organic agriculture movement, and experience the heart of American agrarian culture.
WWOOF farms offer a variety of educational opportunities, including growing vegetables, beekeeping, building straw bale houses, working with animals, making wine, and much more.“

“Visitors, or ‘WWOOFers’, spend about half of each day helping out on a host farm, learn about organic farming and sustainable agriculture, and receive room and board during their visit – with no money exchanged between hosts and WWOOFers.

Please be noted that you need to be a member of WWOOF to sign up for wwoofing in our farm.
